Lionel Messi is set to retire from the international football as Argentina are out of World Cup 2018 from Round of 16. 2014 world cup finalist were 4-3 down against mighty France in their round of 16 game which ended their hope of winning the title for first time since 1986.

Lionel Messi led the Oldest Argintine side into the world cup with hattrick against Equador in last qualifying game. This is likely to be the last time we are seeeing Messi on world stage. It may end the international carrrer of Lionel Messi after defeat against french side. After loss in 2014 final they were title favourites this time as well but didn't happened this time as well.
