July 2nd, Round of 16 match between Japan and Belgium. Japanese side with much of the control of the game couldn't get past the mighty Belgium side in their first knockout match of world cup 2018. Japan eyeing for their first ever world cup quarter finalist spot in their entire football history.

Belgium were hoping to recover their loss against Argentina in 2014 edition of world cup quarter final. Belgium were favorites among the two before the game. Japan became only team to gain round of 16 spot by disciplinary rule. Belgium were looking for 4th successive win in this competition. Match got under way, fans on their feet to cheer their team. Japan started pretty well. Both team kept pressing but couldn't find a way through. Halftime and it was still 0-0.  Second half under way 48th minute on the clock Japan break the deadlock with goal from Haraguchi. Japan 1-0 up. With just 4 minute past Japan Scored another from Inui in 52ndminute of the game. Japan 2-0 up, Belgium in big trouble now. With two goals down Belgium still didn't loose hope and they were right back on the game Vertongen and Substitute Maraune Fellaine Strike goals for Belgium in 70th and 75th minute of the game. Belgium 2-2 Japan in the 90th minute. Four minute time added on Japan with corner with 1min remaining keeper grabs the ball Belgium on he quick counter JApanese defence running back but it was too late when Belgiium came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in last minuute of the game by goal from Nacer Chadli. 

With this Belgium became the second team to win a game after being 2-0 down which last happened in 1968 when west Germany came from behind against England.
