The legendary actor Power Boothe which have given us outstanding movies like Tombstone, Frality, Southern Comfort, Sin City, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D etc has died at the age of 68.

According to his publicist, Karen Samfilippo, Boothe was said to have died in his sleep from apparent natural causes. His death first broke online through longtime friend Beau Bridges, who tweeted: “It’s with great sadness that I mourn the passing of my friend Powers Boothe. A dear friend, great actor, devoted father & husband.”

Actor Boothe began his acting career in the 1970s in the Oregon Shakespeare Company before he landed a role in a Broadway comedy called Lone Star in 1980. Later in 2009, Boothe was inducted in the Texas Film Hall of Fame along with actor and singer Billy Bob Thornton.  Talking about his achievements, the veteran actor had even won an Emmy award in 1980 for playing cult leader Jim Jones in the TV movie Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones.

His one of the memorable roles was him playing the corrupt senator in Sin City, the ruthless saloon owner Cy Tolliver in Deadwood and the gunman Curly Bill Brocius in Tombstone.
