Khloé Kardashian, a devoted mother of two, recently shared insights into her family's newfound tradition of Elf on the Shelf through a series of Snapchat Story posts.

The reality star, aged 39, revealed that they began the tradition last year when her daughter True turned 4, explaining that she wanted to wait until True could fully grasp the enchantment surrounding it. Reflecting on her own cherished Christmas traditions from childhood, such as matching PJs and baking cookies with her mom, Khloé expressed her desire to create a fresh tradition for her own family.

This Christmas, True requested two elves—one for herself and one for her younger brother, Tatum. Khloé showcased the elves, highlighting the unique earrings on True's elf. While Tatum may not comprehend the festivities yet, Khloé commended True for consistently including her brother in family activities. Despite the effort required for nightly elf set-ups, Khloé emphasized the joy she experiences seeing True's excitement each morning, even sharing a snap of a creative elf surprise—a giant snowman made of toilet paper rolls.

Khloé acknowledged the challenge of maintaining elaborate scenes but noted that her daughter's genuine joy makes it all worthwhile. Recreating some of last year's favorite elf scenarios based on True's post-holiday reflections, Khloé revealed, "The fact that she remembers some of the scenes she loved the most from last year makes it all worth doing!" Dispensing advice to families attempting Elf on the Shelf for the first time, Khloé recommended starting small, cautioning against the pitfalls of overly ambitious set-ups.

Acknowledging her own enthusiasm for impressive arrangements, she humorously admitted, "I've found that I'm probably the one who cares the most how impressive the set-ups are. The kids think it's impressive and magical no matter what!" In addition to the Elf on the Shelf tradition, Khloé recently shared a heartwarming moment with her kids and their cousin Dream, 7, donning matching Christmas pajamas. Capturing the festive atmosphere in her beautifully decorated home, Khloé celebrated the joyous occasion with a dance party set to songs from the Sing 2 soundtrack and Christmas classics. The proud mom, capturing the essence of the season, shared the magical experience with her followers, describing it as "The MOST magical time of year!!!"
