There was also a joke about Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's relationship that didn't make the show's final cut.

Kim Kardashian knew where the line was the point at which it came to poking fun at her family on Saturday Night Live. During Thursday's episode of The Kardashians, Kim kept on getting ready for her SNL facilitating gig, including thinking of her talk and practicing portrays with the cast. And keeping in mind that she expressed a large portion of her family was down to be kidded about during the show, there were a couple zingers that were left on the cutting room floor. In one joke she explicitly got some information about her split from ex-Kanye West. The humdinger was set to be included in the "Individuals' Kourt" sketch and had SNL star Chris Redd as West requesting that Kim be his legal counselor in their separation.

Since Kim was at that point set to poke fun at their split during the discourse, she stressed that whatever else would appear to be frightful.

"The divorce is so sensitive for him," Kim said. "I'm already saying that part in the monologue, I don't want to like… maybe I could talk to Chris and think of something funny. I could just tell him, 'Hey! This is super sensitive to him.'"

Kim sought legal separation from West in February 2021, after almost seven years of marriage. Alongside Saint, the previous couple share kids North, 8, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2½.

In a confession booth interview, Kim conceded that she was "afraid of hurting people's feelings." "It doesn't mean that because we didn't work out that we don't have a great love and respect for each other," she added of her relationship with West.

In her initial talk, Kim made one cheerful punch about their split. "I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he's the richest Black man in America," she said. "A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing: his personality."

However, while rehearsing her discourse prior to the episode, she read a draft to entertainer Amy Schumer that incorporated a kid about her sister, Khloé Kardashian, that eventually got cut.

"Oh, Khloé, you have the biggest heart. It's so big it has room for Tristan and all of his side pieces," Kim said, referring to Khloé's exTristan Thompson's previous deceiving outrages.
