Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance in Selena Gomez's new cooking show, ‘Selena & Chef,’ via FaceTime where Selena reveals why the cooking show is good for their friendship!

Selena Gomez, 28, was so proud of her latest creation on her new show "Selena & Chef," that she called her "friend" to show it. And surprisingly this "friend" of her turned out to be none other than pop star Taylor Swift, 30. Selena FaceTimed Taylor from her kitchen while proudly showing off her concoction and in reply, Taylor gasped of delight at the sight of Korean BBQ Texas breakfast tacos that looked absolutely delicious.

“Literally I’ve just been making all of this, and I think we’re making donuts next,” Selena told her friend, Taylor, referring to the food and ingredients on her kitchen table. “I’m very jealous of this whole setup and the fact that you guys are cooking together, it’s pretty great, I’m really envious,” Taylor said to Selena and her friend’s co-star, chef Roy Choi, and his daughter while looking at the amazing dish Selena prepared. Roy Choi's daughter was star-struck at the sight of Taylor. 

Selena joked saying that cooking is Taylor's "love language" as she is a keen baker and she also revealed that the show has been bringing them even close now. “She’s like my big cooking person, so it’s a very big deal that I'm learning how to cook. It’s good for our friendship,” Selena told.

Upon sight of the alluring dish, Taylor expressed how proud she was of Selena. Taylor is not only among her famous friend that loves her show as fans took notice of the screenshot her ex, Justin Bieber shared, which was the promo of Selena's cooking show on the HBO Max page. We're yet unsure if it's just a coincidence but fans immediately began to speculate that he might be checking on his ex more than two years after their breakup.

Selena + Chef aired on Aug. 13, and in every episode, Selena tackles with a new recipe with a master chef alongside amidst quarantine. Selena humbly accepts that cooking is not he thing, yet seeing her try it makes it more fun to watch.
