Katy Perry in a new interview confessed about not planning any more in 2020 as the plans always get canceled when she was asked about her postponing her wedding with Orlando Bloom for the second time.

Katy Perry, 35, and Orlando Bloom, 43, won't be seen walking down the aisle together anytime soon as her due date is approaching. As the "Roar" hitmaker's due date to her first child is now one month away she opens about how planning in 2020 hasn't been working well due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. Katy also revealed that her wedding with Orlando has been postponed for the second time. She gave her statement in a new interview saying: “You can’t plan anymore in 2020 because those plans are always canceled, we just want to deliver a healthy child. Everyone has to take life one week at a time right now.”

Although Katy and Orlando's "I do" is delayed for now she is sure that this will eventually happen and she couldn't contain her happiness with the baby in her womb right now. Katy exclaimed, “Obviously, that will happen in the future, but for now we just want to deliver a healthy child, and that’s what’s coming up right now!”

Before Katy opened up, Orlando already indicated about their wedding being put on hold due to the pandemic in an interview with "The Times UK." “I’m not joking when I say that coronavirus might have a play in whether we put things on ice, because we’re going to be traveling and we don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable,” he told.

Katy and Orlando's wedding was planned to take place in Japan which was reportedly postponed last year. According to a source, the couple were planning to get tie the knot by the end of 2019 but decided to wait as the timing for their preferred venue didn't work out.

The insider told the HollywoodLife exclusively, “Katy and Orlando decided it was best to postpone their wedding for the time being, they are planning something really special and the timing didn’t work out at this moment in terms of the venue. They really want to make their wedding day incredible and they don’t want to rush the planning and possibly miss out on the little details. Since they’ve also been discussing two weddings, there’s a ton of planning and preparation that goes into it,” the insider added.

“They are so in love and know they’re going to be together forever, so they don’t see any point in rushing things along. The wedding will happen when it’s supposed to and it will be beautiful,” explained the source. We can't wait to see the lovebirds tying the know anytime soon.
