Billboard embraced women in music today awarding Selena Gomez 'Woman of the Year' who was awarded by Elle Fanning and her best friend Francia Raisa where she got really tearful with so much emotion and gratitude for her best friend to give back her life as well as everyone considering her for the award.

Selena Gomez, 25 has been one of the woman in music awarded by Billboard as the 'Woman of the Year'. Selena has so much of the year this year as she had to grow from various transition from health recovery to her tour to new music release to near to death experience to getting back on her feet yet again.

Thus, receiving 'Woman of the Year' award from Billboard, she was so overwhelmed, she couldn't hold back tears while giving her speech and once again thanked her best friend Francia Raisa who saved her life and thinks she is the one who deserved the award. Likewise, she embraces how lucky she is to get such a platform in her life and how all of her family, friends have been so supportive throughout her hard times and how all the seniors have been so great to give her such a great experience in her life.
