Selena Gomez has just revealed a shocking news to her fans about her degrading health for which she had to go over kidney transplant over the summer because the huge effects of Lupus she is suffering from which has made the fans devastated yet relieved she is recovering now.


The most followed person in Instagram Selena Gomez, 25 has just revealed via Instagram that she has recently gone one through most crucial stage of the life i.e. Kidney transplant due to the effects of the long time disease Lupus, she is fighting.

According to her Instagram post, some of the fans have actually noticed that she has been lost in Summer and is not promoting one of her best songs as she needed to. Here then she reveals that due to the complication of her disease Lupus, her Kidney had been affected as she need a new Kidney transplant as soon as possible. One of her golden hearten best friend Francia Raisa made a great sacrifice and agreed to donate one of her healthy kidney for the sake of Sel which is so touchy. Finally, they had a successful surgery and she is recovering from the surgery.


The 'Fetish' singer has posted three pictures in her Instagram. The first picture seem to be post successful surgery where Selena is all smile holding her best friend Francia Raisa's hand with loving eyes from both friends. In the second picture, Sel shows the picture of the cut she had below her stomach because of her surgery. And lastly is the picture of almost full of Sel in the same dress shown in the cut.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made. We all are really glad Selena Gomez is fine now and she will completed recover in the span of time. We just love Selena really much.
